Ok I went wreck beach alone on Friday before I went shopping… thinking that it would be a nice sunny day to visit a beach. Before I go, looking at the map, my impression would be….hmm, it looks near my hostel….probably the distance would be like pasir ris chalet to the the beach…but HA….it is 300 steps down…..YES…STEPS….. ok, jason will know that actually I have a mild phobia of walking down stairs or steps, and so I took bout 20 minutes to walk down that 300 steps…yeap i counted…that’s approximately 300 steps…and when I was making my way down the steps…. there is a middle age runner jogging me pass…..once…twice…thrice!!!!! up and down…..yes…three times…. i wish there was a hole for me to hide my head…hahah… ok….so I made my way down..Yap wreck beach is supposed to be a nude beach…. or a druggie hangout place, but at 11 am in winter… there are only people from UBC or some unknown visitors walking around, and sitting on the logs…. wreck breach…just like the name sounded….it seems like an isolated area…abandoned…hmm, i guess it’s because it’s winter… haha… ok the worst has yet to come…remember the 300 steps I told you……. yap…then I had to make my way up…that horrible steps…. I nearly fainted…..

Shopping at Robson and guess what! I bought 1 pair of jeans and 1 pair of 3/4 from Zara!! And how much did that cost…..wa HAHA…..CAN$9.90 for the jeans and CAN$19.90 for the 3/4!!! COOL.. haha, and also bought a holder for ipod nano for my sista !! Anyways, we also ate the roadside hotdogs which only costs us $3.50! ahah
At 2.45 pm now. Suppose to be working on my strategic management case analysis on Friendster…….ended up watching “Guess guess guess” on Youtube, writing this blog and doing laundry… I better get going soon , ha…
Ok, went snowboarding yesterday at whistler…. And the trip cost about $170 for a day trip…..guess what happened………the worst stomach cramp I experienced…….i was in total pain……..snowboarded less than an hour and I collapsed at the cable car station while we were on the way to have our lunch…….dramatic events followed…… before I knew it ..I was on a wheel car…..then the first aider came………rode on a snow mobile (like a motorbike on snow) and sent to the first aid room to sleep for the next 1.5 hours. Yap…..it sucks…. I want to thank Sharon from SMU who was there taking care of me before I was being sent off on the snow mobile ! Thank you!!!
Oh, and when I woke up…. I saw this little boy…aged 14 with a bandaged around his neck… and I had a short conversion with him..
Me: what happened?
Him: Snowboarding……flew….broke my arm and collar bone.. (can’t exactly remember his exact words , but something like that)
Me: Wow, that must have hurt
Him: Yeah….
Me: You’re a brave boy. Don’t worry, at least you’ll learn from it.
Him: Thanks. Yap. So what happen to you?
Me: (Oh shit, why does he have to ask! URGH) Stomach Cramp
Him: Oh, that sucks.
Me: Yeah. So how often have you been here?
Him: Sixth times, what about you?
Me: (URGH) First time.
Him: Really? Oh that sucks. First time and you’re ill.
Me: Yeap, I know………… (URGH)
Oh well, but I am really glad that I did not break any of my bones…haha… at least I got to ride on the snow mobile…haha…and tested a bit of snowboarding…ya…that sucks….but oh well… live it….

Hello! Hmm, on thurs we went for a super interesting event…. EROTIC BINGO! Hahhaha, ok…it is held in Pit Pub, one of the pubs in our school, so how the game is played is that…when you’ve got a line across or horizontally or vertically then what you do is instead of shouting BINGO, you should VAGINA!!…. haha…a bit crude right, then they have skits and talk shows all talking about sex and vagina! And they have games and chocolates shaped like ..AHEM…VA…….
I bought a souvenir for my sister …..but hey, before you even think about what this stupid event is…hold your thoughts! It’s for a good cause! It’s an event to stop violence against woman! How cool….

Yesterday we had potluck too!! OMG the food is dammmm good!!!!!!!!! Ranging from appetizers like salads, tuna on crackers to xiang gu (mushroom) with gou qi zhi, vegetables with oysters, grilled salmon and chicken drumsticks, vinegar sauce with some other sauce of pork and chicken, chicken stew, mee suan with Japanese curry, Indian redeng curry, Ba ku tea, did I miss out on any other dishes, oh nice mix nuts fried rice, mini hashbrowns and desserts we had jello and lime foam pie (ok I forgot what is it call)…… wooooowww….. hmm, again pictures are with my friend….
Ok, we are going ice-skating later!!!! And shopping!!

Went to church service, it’s a very traditional christian church, and some of the practices I’ve never seen before. 
They sang hymns and it’s a nice and peaceful feeling. Even though it is different I guess God’s presence is the same.

Nice views and all right! We were walking around after the church services and saw the clear blue sky with snow capped mountains, so we walked towards it to get a better view!
The weather is turning weird, we are suppose to have temperature ranging from 5 degree to 10 degree and New York is suppose to have our weather but wala! We are having -6 degree to a high of 0 degree! This is crazy! New Yorkers like Cat and Harry, please enjoy what you are having now!!

We all went for the ice hockey match to support UBC Thunderbird! Paid $5 for the ticket and catch a glimpse of the cute guys of our hockey team!! But oh well, they lost by the last goal in the last period of the game! Heard that they will continue the game on Saturday, so I’m not too sure on how the game is played! Hahah

Attempted to collect some snow for Sufang upon her request for unique souveniers and she requested snow… so in an attempt to collect the “pure” snow…I cut a bottle and do a funnel like thingy and stick it to my window…and of course…it failed! The snow just won’t fly to the bottle..haha

We are suppose to meet for dinner at Vanier but Ben and Sheryl fly our kite and decided to go shop for groceries! Knowing that they flew our kite, they decided to get us some cupcakes to apologise. They went through the snow and wind to bring us the cupcakes! SO SWEET! AWW…. the cupcakes make the world a better place!

I love Vancouver! The people are extremely friendly not only to people, but also to the environment, animals and the disabled! NEAT! They are so supportive of recycling and energy conservation. And not just that, I met a bank counter staff today who is deaf and he communicates by typing and I reply by typing on a machine too! How cool! I love the way they are soo socially responsible to all people!
Hey, I did a silly thing again…the other time I lock the keys of my locker in the locker, this time, I lock myself out of my room! Got to run to the common block and get a spare key! Ha! Poor me!
