Over dinner and desserts we shared our stories.
My friend loves my fan so much so that she’s borrowing it for her wedding photoshoot! HAHA.
Babe, have fun on Wednesday!

My awards are given to benefit others. HAHA.

They love my fan!
After my epic experience with Hervé Léger (wannabe), I left my readers curious of my final decision.
In the end, I decided on a lace shift dress (The Dress) which gives out a conservative yet classy feel. The Dress also exudes the style of Audrey Hepburn which is complemented with pretty lace details. Oriental accessories were also worn to create excitement (drama-ma-ma) and glam to complete the look.

Here are some of the photos taken during the dinner.

How do you like my new, shitty shitty bangs bangs? HAHA.
Here are some pictures I love.

Then, we have…
The Ultimate Nobody Dance.

Thank you Jason for the awesome photos!

The smart (but skanky) solution to beat the heat.

I love my hot red heels.
My dysfunctional family.
My sweet sister.
Thank you Mummy and Daddy for your love and my education! Thank you Sister for your understanding and love (and the flowers too!). Thank you Brother for being your aloof but helpful self! Thank you Granny for being caring and loving! I love my dysfunctional family!

Thank you my friends (Catherine, Valerie, Yiqian, Tabitha, Colin, Tai Tong, Kyle and Erwin) for sticking together through good times and bad, for bearing with my aggressive and irritating “self” during project discussions and for all the fun times we had!

Thank you Jason for your love patient, grace and understanding! Thank you for the flowers, and Mr Linus (NUS Lion, -_-)! Thank you for all the wonderful pictures (more in the next post) too!
I love you all!
I realized there is an internal joke going on about me.
Me: “Eh, you turn right later.”
Friend: “Eh, so I U-turn or turn right.”
Me: “Eh? You turn right later la.”
Fine. It actually happened. Hmph. Now you can join in the fun. -_-

Note: Thank you friend for sending me home!!
“Three times a bridesmaid, never a bride.” Holy molly.

To break the curse, I’ll need to catch the bouquet during Ian and Maxine’s wedding. So girl, please remember to throw your bouquet in my direction! HAHA.

For the longest time, I’ve been wanting to visit the newly revamped Butter but whenever I try organizing a trip there, the response is bad. I realized my friends are getting old and so am I. Damn it.
Updates: 3 minutes ago, a friend of mine offered me steak (His identity will be kept confidential to prevent meat-craze stalker from following him) because he couldn’t go Butter! Now I am an extremely happy girl. WOOT. Thank YOU!!

If you have seen this ad before, do take a second look. The bride who is supposed to look like a sad-bride-who-just-lost-her-mum-to-cancer is a close friend of mine (whose name shall not be mentioned). HAHA.
Her experience? The process was fun but being paid X amount for her face to appear EVERYWHERE (literally, it appeared in the train. -_-), she felt exploited.

Oh. An updated picture of hers (some of my loyal reader may find her familiar, she appeared in my previous post before) HAHA.
I was at Wild Wild Wet this afternoon. No, I’ve not wake up to a 15 years old version of myself. Neither was I in an unstable state of mind. But I, the chief editor of SbR, took the train all the way from my village to the “much hyped about” east on my own will.
Wild Wild Wet. The only reason I was there? My girl friend has got free tickets! The place was almost empty other than a few dozens of innocent tourist, who willingly paid $15.50.
Our experiences? Imagine three girls in their two-piece suit looking and shrieking like bimbos and feeling oversized most of the time.
There were only two memorable rides which you can’t find at the theme-park-like swimming complex in Jurong (At an entrance fee of $2, you get to enjoy the lazy pool, wave pool and a couple of slides on top of the regular Olympic size pool). And those rides that I mentioned earlier were Slide Up and Ular-Lah (Sometimes you wonder what is wrong with their marketing department.)
Slide Up

“Imagine plunging down a four-storey ramp, accelerating until you hit the deck and skimming across to soar on the opposite side. Now repeat that several times until your momentum runs out!
Ever wished you could skateboard like a pro? Here’s your chance to do so on a platform slicked with water for that extra kick! Powered by gravity and kinetic energy, the Slide Up is a cool way to indulge your need for speed.”
Ular-Lah

“The first raft slide in Southeast Asia, Ular-Lah is a super flume ride that offers you a chance to brave the rapids with five other companions. Ideal for thrill and adrenaline seekers, it’s the closest thing you’ll ever experience next to white water rafting! “
So if you think the $13.50 premium that you will be paying is well worth it, then you should head down to Wild Wild Wet.
Ju Shin Jung

We had a lunch gathering at Ju Shin Jung this afternoon. Yes it’s Korean, a Korean Charcoal BBQ Restaurant. When we were stuffing the meat into our faces, we can’t help but wonder why we are even there since most of us are leaving for Korea in a few days/weeks time. But it was so good, no, I think good is an understatement. It was heavenly, especially the pork belly, so juicy, so crispy, so fattening and yet so mmmmm.
We picked the Unlimited Lunch BBQ buffet which comes with free flow of pork collar, marinade pork, pork belly, marinade chicken, assorted sides and one lunch special (Fried Saba Fish, Clear Beef Rib Soup, Stone Bowl Rice, Spicy Tofu Soup, Spicy Chicken Soup, Cold Noodle or Spicy Cold Noodle)! It was a little on the pricier end ($29++ –> approx $35) but it was worth it. Divine. I can’t wait for more of this in Seoul!

The parties involved

I am freaking glad I went for kickboxing this evening!

We had lots of fun at Cat & Chris’s 23rd birthday party!!! For more juicy pictures and extremely entertaining videos (c.f. Classic of Erwin and Bright) please visit my Facebook profile and you’ll see them all there!
