Hanging around Jiufen


The scenery is beautiful and the mountain air is clean!


We realized that all the little “shen” (province, villages?) in Taiwan looks somewhat similar! Haha. Later when I post up the pictures for Wu Lai, then you will see the similarity!

In all the little “shen”, there is always an old street and in the old street there are many food stalls! Yummilious!


This beef noodle is very good!


This lady is very spontaneous and funny!


These yam / sweet potato / sesame balls taste like our glutinous balls “Tang Yuan”!



These BBQ mushrooms are amazing! I’m not a fan of mushrooms but these are great!


He is a mushroom fanatic! Haha.


This little thing is actually a music instrument! Almost got one but my lack of musical talent and patient changed my mine!
