Crispy Bee Hoon at Yong Kee Seafood Restaurant

Tucked opposite Wanderlust Hotel at Jalan Besar hides a seafood place with the best fried bee hoon that I’ve tasted.
Ok, I’ve never tried crispy fried bee hoon before, so this really blows my mind away. Also known as Chao Tar (or charred) Bee Hoon, this Malaysian style bee hoon which looks like a fried pan cake is crispy on the outside and savoury soft on the inside.
If you are unsure of what to order, you can try ordering their favourite dishes which are mostly good. Their three eggs spinach is good, seafood beancurd is soft and smooth, hei cho (prawn with pork and vegetables in beancurd skin) is firm and yummy but the best is their steamed crab with ginger.
It was oh so good. The crab is fresh, firm and juicy. The steamed egg at the side is even more popular than the crab. Haha. This place is a must try! I will want to bring my parents and family here! Yums.
Same here! Definitely worth another visit, as well as for their bee hoon!
