Love the huge communal tables which reminded me of libraries.

Their semi outdoor seat is comfortable too because of their high ceiling and a giant ceiling fan (like those you see on our train station).

The Robin Blue colour ladies bike looks too good!

Finally visited one of the latest hippie cafe The Wheeler’s Yard and took the obligatory picture in front of the blue metal panel! We managed to speak to the owner and he actually bought a factory and converted to a bicycle shop/cafe. After reading the online reviews of their food, we had really low expectation of the food. Most of the reviews indicated that the food is either average or really bad. But with a low expectation we went in with an open mind and the food wasn’t that bad.

Big breakfast (SGD 16.90)  was disappointing though.

Mushroom soup (SGD 8) is great! Didn’t taste like it’s out of a can and love the mushroom bits!

Smoked salmon salad (SGD 9.90) was on offer that day! I don’t take smoked salmon but he claims that it’s good. The sauce which is a little fruity/citrus like is good.

Pan Seared Salmon (SGD 22.90) was great as well! Wasn’t mind blowing but was good.

Strolling around their backyard which connects to a park connector.

The good thing about this place is the relaxing mood, great decor (even though it cannot be eaten) and it doesn’t come with service tax or GST.

The bad comes from self serve concept too. Haha. We ordered 4 dishes and a tea, and we walked up and door to pick up our food 5 times. It is extremely interrupting as we can’t sit and wait to be served. The tea is also overpriced, Dilmah tea is just bad, they should at least served Twinings!
