The forest walk in Alishan National Scenic Area is another highlight of our trip! I love walking among these magical trees where many of them are more than thousands of years old!

2170 metres above sea level, the weather was perfect except a few showers / drizzles during our walk. Haha.

Took a mini bus ride from Alishan carpark to the forest walk entrance and walked past this pretty train station!

The forest behind me looks like a scene out of Harry Potter / Twilight! Haha.

We walked for a couple of hours and thankfully the boardwalks made the walk enjoyable and manageable.

The magic about these trees is how they grow in different shapes!

Trees above a few thousand years old are considered sacred and they build a couple of tomb like monuments for those trees which died.
