Bowl Rice Cake and Fort Provintia, Tainan, Taiwan

In the evening, after visiting Fort Zeelandia and eating a whole lot, we went to eat another must eat in Tainan! Tainan is famous for their street food, and other than Bean Jelly and Oysters, another must eat is the Bowl Rice Cake.

We had the bowl rice cake at Sen Maw Rice Food (森茂碗粿) which has a branch at a short walk to Fort Provintia (赤崁分店). It is really tasty and a little like Singapore’s Chwee Kueh but a whole lot tastier.

You can also add various condiments and sauces to it.

Another must eat is the Coffin Bread but we were too full to try it. There are a few bread store next to the rice cake store.
